The Weekenders’ programme for September to December will be posted on the U3A website later this week so please contact me if you are interested in our events or if you have new suggestions for events etc. We like to organise a Lunch, a Social Evening, an Outing and a Coffee Club get together each month, plus any other events we might be interested in. This group is now full but if anyone is interested in a Weekenders Too! Group, please let the Groups’ Co-ordinator, Siobhan Lee, know when between us we could start a second group.
We lunched at The Riverside Farm on August 3rd, changed an outing to Stamford on August 9th, going to Dobbies at Chesterfield instead in view of the predicted bad weather and a few of us braved a trip to good old Skeggie on 22nd August.
Our Coffee Club meeting on 31st August was our Programme Planning session for September to December.
