STOP PRESS! STOP PRESS!
The hills may be alive to the sound of music, but as you know not for me.
After a quick reccie of the proposed walk it has now been moved a couple of miles for an easier walk along the River Soar.
We will meet at THE KING’S HEAD, SUTTON BONNINGTON [LE12 5PE] at 09.45 for a 10.00 start in the pub car park. The landlord has agreed to let us use the toilets before we set off if need be, and will come and ask for our lunch orders, which will be ready at 12.30.
The walk will take us along a track and across fields to a canal which then joins the River Soar. We will follow the river, returning along another track until we join the road back to the pub to arrive there around 12.15.
If you are in contact with anyone else in the group, please make sure that they know the new arrangements, as not everyone is on my mailing list. Thank you.
