Question- Should farmers be fined if they plough over footpaths?
Using Plan B, or even Plan C, the Short Walk Group enjoyed a pleasant but slightly long [5.25miles] walk along the River Soar for their October foray. However if they had not had a map, or met a friendly local, finding the path, back to the village of Sutton Bonnington, might have been a problem as it had disappeared – the path, not the village!
The next walk will be from the Horse and Groom pub at Moorgreen on Thursday 19th November, and will be the well known Moorgreen Reservoir circuit of around 5 miles. Starting time 10.00. Everyone welcome – just turn up on the day.
