On Friday 19th April Hucknall U3A hosted a Traditional Jazz night at the John Godber Centre. The Band was the marvellous George Huxley All Stars and they provided us with a memorable night of music.
About 130 people attended not only from Hucknall but Ashfield, Mansfield and the Nottingham Rhythm Club. Jazz lovers and newcomers alike all reported how much they had enjoyed the occasion, what a great night it was and when were we going to do it again.
Thank you to Rose Ridley for the beautiful table decorations and to the whole social committee for making it such a successful evening.
