Cycle Live will take place on Sunday, 24 June, 2018 at Victoria Embankment, Nottingham and is an event that several Hucknall U3A cyclists have entered for the fourth consecutive year. Also known as the Great Notts Bike Ride, we have members entered for both the The Friar Tuck (50 miles) and The Maid Marian (75 miles).
Many of the 4000+ riders, as well as riding for the challenge, also raise money through sponsorship for a charity. Irene Astill, our joint group leader, is hoping to raise some for The British Heart Foundation. We will report back at the July 11th monthly meeting.
