Weekenders in July

In July we supported Jean Green’s PBC Fundraising Quiz at The Bowman which proved to be a lot of fun. The buffet was very good as was the company and we do wish this new support group lots of luck.
I don’t know whether it’s because it is the holiday season but not many people put their names down for our Weekenders social events last month. Therefore there was no Social Evening as we did not have a host venue nor did we have a lunch. But we are planning to return to Arunothai on Saturday, 2nd August as we enjoyed it so much at our previous visit, and if anyone would like to join us, just let me know. Also it was suggested we had a return visit to Reg Taylor’s Garden Centre (near Southwell) and lunch on Saturday, 23rd August and I am taking names for that also.
The next Weekenders Programme Planning get-together will be on Saturday, 6th September from 2-4 pm so please get your thinking caps on and let me know what sort of events you would like to be involved in.
