As we go to press with this article our members of the watercolour group will be finishing their watercolour entries for the ‘Byron Festival’ the subject ‘Byron the Traveller’. The subject has sparked great interest and investigation into Byron’s life. Entries will be available for viewing at the John Godber Centre during the morning of Thursday 7 July and judged later during that afternoon, results of the competition will be announced during the evening. We wish all the entrants good luck.
The next meeting for the watercolour group will be on Monday 1 August 2016. This will be the annual outdoor session at Felley Priory. If you are interested in joining the group for the day, please contact Rose either via the website or at the July monthly meeting.
