Discussion Group Latest

To the meeting on Monday June 6th our members were invited to bring a newspaper and open a discussion on a topic that drew their attention. This was a new way of letting folks choose the topic. We had some interesting discussions beginning with ‘Holiday Insurance’. It was concluded that holiday insurance was something that required in depth consideration in order to make sure that all eventualities and costs are covered by any policy taken out. There were those of us who valued the points raised in this discussion. Other more light hearted topics were introduced such as, those things we had and did as kids that our present youngsters don’t enjoy.
Our membership has been extended now to the extent that we can all only just be seated around a table so unfortunately we have a waiting list. If you were thinking of joining us you will need to keep an eye on our notice board in the ‘Information Room’ for further news of vacancies.
