Science Group topics

Part 1 of our January meeting was a follow up on our recent practical session around mirrors, lenses, magnets and gyroscopes.
After a short break part 2 was an introduction to the link between science and technology in the development of steam, petrol and diesel power.
Members of the group will be presenting feedback on the research topics allocated around this theme at our next meeting on the 17^th February, 2017.
Following on from our inaugural joint Christmas Quiz and combined social event in December 2016 by popular request we will also meet together on December 15^th 2017 for a similar event (a date for your U3A diary).
