We have continued to ride each Wednesday in some rather frosty and usually muddy conditions.
Our route on the 11th January turned into something of a quagmire when we followed a continuation of the Newstead trail to the newly designated country park. This is work in progress, all on reclaimed colliery land that incorporates two fishing lakes. It is well worth a visit especially when the construction of the large wind turbine is complete.
However we do look forward to the relatively warmer months and to date five members are signed up for the 50-mile Great Notts Cycle Ride on June 25, 2017.
