Seating space limits our group to ten members; this number also allows everyone enough time to participate in giving their opinions on books we have read. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month. We choose one set book for us all to read each month and discuss. We then tell everyone what else we have read over the month and which books we can recommend.
We hope to be discussing Daphne Du Maurier’s “My Cousin Rachel” at the August meeting but July’s will be a “love” story of our own choice.
We also attend talks put on by Hucknall Library with guest authors, which can be very enlightening. The Library also has a “Crime Café” on the second Tuesday of each month, with guest speakers as well as discussions.
