In November we read the autobiography by Chris Packham – “Fingers in the Sparkle Jar”. This caused a lot of discussion at our December meeting when we also had a fuddle and a brief discussion on the books we had read this month.
In January we shall be discussing Ian McMillan’s “Neither Nowt nor Summat” about the origins of a true Yorkshireman.
We also attend talks put on by Hucknall Library with guest authors, which can be very enlightening. The Library also has a “Crime Café” at 2.00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month, with guest speakers as well as discussions.
