Our trip on Friday 23 October trip is to Sunnycroft near Telford and Attingham Park, Shrewsbury. Sunnycroft is a first for us. It’s a substantial red brick villa built for the prosperous middle classes in the late Victorian period and one of the few to have survived with a mini estate including allotments, stables, kennels, chickens and orchard and largely unaltered contents and decoration.
Attingham Hall is an 18th-century mansion and estate. There’s an ongoing interesting restoration project here.
The cost of the coach is £10.00 and if you are not a National Trust member there will also be entrance charges of £5.50 (Sunncroft) and £9.50 (Attingham).
