On Tuesday August 18th the Garden Group’s visit will be to Melbourne Hall in Leicestershire. Tours of the Hall have all been taken now but there is still some room on the coach for visiting the gardens grounds and village. The coach departs Ogle St/Market Place at 10.00 and return close to 4.30 depending on the traffic.
September’s activity will be rather different both in venue and date so please note in your diary. The meet will be one week early Tuesday Sept 8th and one of our members, Linda Foster, has invited us to visit her garden (£3 donation each to her charity) She lives at 78 Sandy Lane, Hucknall. and will welcome all our Garden Group members anytime between 1.00 and 5.00 p.m. Linda is going to provide tea and biscuits. If anyone wishes to bake a cake for the occasion it will be very welcome.
Octobers meeting will be a speaker meeting on Tuesday Oct 20th . 2.00 at John Godber.
