Once again we had a good turn-out for our February walk, which started from the Plough Inn in Farnsfield. Twenty-six of us were treated to a day of winter sunshine; it really was good to be out and about after all the recent rain.
The walk, led by Paul and Steph Haigh took us around the Farnsfield and Halam area. Our photo was taken around a wonderful monkey tree in Halam; a native of Chile apparently. We have several members who like to check walk lengths on their mobile phones now. This App technology is a bit of pain really because it showed that we had walked over 8 miles! It was such a good walk though that we have decided to forgive Paul and Steph for our aching bones!
Our next walk will be on Monday March 21st, to Bunny
