Our February walk was from The Ex-Servicemen’s Club in Warsop. We arrived to find that the approach road to the club was closed but several texts later everyone had arrived at the new parking place and on time! The walk was a pleasant, relatively easy-going 6.5 mile walk over reclaimed pit sites, woods, dismantled railway track and quiet lanes. We were treated to some fine views.
Thank you to Greg Umney for taking us on a walk that no one had done before.
Our next walk will be on: Monday 19th March 2018 from Kelstedge, Derbyshire.
