The group have continued with the weekly rides throughout the July with an average of 9 members each Wednesday. This is good when we consider that on any given week from June to October someone is on holiday. We welcomed back Brian Stanley and our first Ashfield member Derek joined us for the Moorgreen Reservoir ride earlier this month.
Our esteemed Chairman even with his splendid new cycle managed yet another tyre deflation, (puncture or leaking valve problem) but this is a very infrequent occurrence for the group despite some uneven ground on most rides.
On August 5th it is an extended full day out starting from Vicar water in Clipstone to Clumber park and back, a distance of about 33 miles. Meet at Vicar Water car park at 9.30 am.
