Christmas Revelries and New Beginnings

We had a great time at the presentation meeting on 13th December and this was followed on the 14th by our trip to the German market in Birmingham. We enjoyed tasting the Gluhwein and other goodies, and seeing the huge array of stalls. We also enjoyed a tour around Birmingham taking in the Edwardian tearoom, a lovely carol service by the conservatoire choir and an enjoyable walk along Brindley place and the Mailbox, followed by a meal at Cafe Rouge. Ann’s mistletoe cause much comment on the return train journey home and great fun was had by all who managed to come at a busy time of year.
Our January meeting is on Thursday 11th at 10.30 at JGC. We begin Italian.
