Weekenders' Jan/Feb Report

The events organised by either the Lunch Group or the Weekenders Group are open to all U3A members, regardless of whether they are regulars or not. Obviously places are sometimes limited so it’s first come, first served; I should be grateful if you could let me know if you are interested in these events as soon as possible so that I can let other members know if I have places left.
On Saturday, 30th December the Coffee Club met when we planned our next four months’ events. We dined at Arunothai on Saturday lunchtime, 13th January and had a Social Evening at Margaret White’s home when we had a second session of “Would I Lie To You” which again proved how good we were at fibbing! The January Coffee Club was on 27th when we heard some hilarious Pets’ Tales (or tails if you like).
We plan a Sunday lunch at Ciao Bella, Mansfield on 4th February and are very much looking forward to that.
