Weekenders Group Meet on 9 Jan

Our last 2015 Coffee Club session was on Saturday, 5th December when we attempted fancy napkin folding; we have all decided we have two left hands! The January Coffee Club will be on the 9th which will be combined with programme planning, so get the ideas coming in.
The Weekenders’ Christmas Lunch was at The Countryman in Kirkby in Ashfield on Saturday, 12th December and was thoroughly enjoyed by thirteen of us. The Santa Sweepstake was won on this occasion jointly by Christine Berrill and Margaret Whilde.
Some of the Weekenders made up numbers for the Craft Group One Christmas Afternoon Tea at Lottie’s Secret Tearooms on 8th December. Once again a very enjoyable occasion and that Santa Sweepstake was won by Barbara Hill.



All events organised by either the Lunch Group or the Weekenders Group are open to all U3A members, regardless of whether they are regulars or not. Obviously space is sometimes limited so it’s first come, first served.
