Weekenders

Thanks to Sandra for arranging a wonderful after-noon tea at Lotties in Old Brinsley,
We were made to feel very special from the moment we arrived.
We were welcomed by Lottie with a glass of Elderflower Champagne and seated at a round table for five with a beautiful old china tea service.
The food was delightful with a mixture of dainty sandwiches in a variety of different breads. We then moved on to warm scones with jam and cream after which we were served with a small trifle flavoured with ginger. Next came coffee and walnut and chocolate cakes and to finish off we each had a lovely decorated cream muffin.
There was only one thing missing. Sandra’s famous quiz !! So, no winners or losers there.
