Our first Summer Treasure Hunt was a huge success. Thirty six of our members walked around Linby & Papplewick in a 4.5 mile loop, searching for answers to clues set out in rhyme by Mark and Lynda. This was on the 21st June, which is the longest day.
Whilst the Sun shone down and the sky was blue
Team “4 Stooges” were the team that won the day
They were just that much better, what more can I say?
Like the tortoise winning against the hare in the story
Mandy, Irene, Teresa and John took the glory
A barbecue followed, which was hosted by Steph & Paul
And a thoroughly good time was had by us all!!
