Singing for Pleasure – Growing Choir

New members are coming to group which is enhancing the choir and hopefully this will continue. All members of the choir enjoy the challenges and camaraderie of the twice monthly meetings. The music sung by the group is varied and easy for new members to integrate into, so please do not be afraid to come along on the first and third Wednesday of each month.
Note to all members: Although the Musical Director will not be available on the 16 April the group will be led by Margaret the pianist, which will give the choir a different dimension to our singing.
As the choir has gained new members it would be helpful for the return of any music and folders from ex members to enable me to pass these on to new members in the group. I would be happy to receive these at the next U3A meeting or these could be returned to any existing choir member.
There is still time to join the Drivetime Choir with the Halle Orchestra which is happening again in June where a number of our members will be taking part. This event is open to anyone who is interested in singing, there is no audition, but members need to attend the practice sessions. There is a small fee and the application form can be found on their website.
