Silver Screen in February

The following films are on show at The Broadway on Thursdays and also at other cinemas such as Cinecentre. Showcase, Savoy, Odeon ( Mansfield). The cost is still £5 including tea, coffee and biscuits. Look out for other members of our group in the Cafe at The Broadway during the lunchtime period between the 2 showings. Wearing your U3A badge would probably make you more easy to spot.

13th February “Outside The City”– a film about a Trappist Brewery -10.30 am and 1.30 pm
20th February “Mr Jones” – a film about famine and genocide in the Ukraine created by the Russians taking all their crops. Part of the film is subtitled. 10.30 am and 1.30 pm
27th February “Emma” Jane Austen’s beloved comedy. 10.15 am and 1.30 pm

Give yourselves plenty of time by arriving early to get your free biscuits and drink and in time to get a good seat. Don’t forget to ask for your U3A discount. Members to meet up at midday in first floor café.
