The next walk on March 19th, led by Roy Brown, is to the beautiful Lumsdale Falls between Tansley and Matlock. It is 4.25 miles with a gradual walk up the falls and back down the other side with no stiles.
Our starting point is The Tavern at Tansley, Nottingham Road, Tansley DE4 5FR
Travel distance 18/20 miles, allow 45 minutes, and it is on the main road between Alfreton and Matlock. Meet at 9.45 am for a 10.00 am start. The Inn has a very large car park and they do a very good value lunchtime menu for anyone wishing to stay for a meal.
