Short Walk details as follows, meeting at Cotgrave Country Park car park on Hollygate Lane at 9.45 am for a 10.00 am start.
Turning off the A46 Cotgrave on to Stragglethorpe Road then left onto Hollygate Lane. The car park is on the right after the mini-roundabout for the new housing estate.
The walk is 4 miles along the Grantham Canal then across fields and through Cotgrave – all flat in general. Afterwards just down the road is the Rose and Crown in Cotgrave for drinks and/or food.
This is a relatively new country park and a new area for us.
