Food and nutrition: dispelling the myths about dieting

This took place on Friday 22nd June, 2018, attended by 20 members. The presenter, Steve Whittle, promised a ‘fun, interactive presentation‘ and it was certainly that. With our help, he laid bare some myths and misinformation about food and diet and emphasised the benefits of exercise throughout all the phases of our life well into the ‘3rd Age’.

The photograph shows Steve with some of the participants.
