Pub Quiz March

Once again there was another great turnout of twenty-six people for the last Pub Quiz & Lunch at the Nabb Inn on Monday, 9^th March.  We had six teams of approximately five people competing in the Quiz.  Most joined in with the Raffle and all had a nice Lunch.
The Quiz was loosely themed around the month of March, with twenty-five questions in the following categories: March, Winds, Thirds and Special March Days.  The Quiz always proves to be quite competitive. The winners were “Delightful Dunces”; second were “Universally Challenged” and third were “Whatever”, who scored 20.  The first and second teams both scored 22 but the winner was the one nearest the tie-breaker.  All members of the winning teams won a prize:  the first received “Insect Logs”, the second “Large Botanical Trays” and the third “Small Botanical Trays”.  Once again thanks to Sandra Green for purchasing the prizes for us.  Thanks also to the Nabb Inn who donated a bottle of wine and also thanks to our members who donated prizes;  it really is appreciated.
The next Quiz will be at the Nabb Inn, Nabbs Lane on Monday, 13^th April at 12noon.
