April saw the Not So Grumpy Old Men “going to the dogs”. Whilst enjoying a gourmet meal we were introduced to the intricacies of the sport of greyhound racing and the associated gaming strategies. Having studied the form of the participants for a full 12 races one of our number placed a triple bet on the last race and won with all three dogs finishing in the order selected. He was disappointed, however, as his winnings barely paid for his bus fare home!
