The adventure continued in May as the Not So Grumpy Old Men travelled to Hinckley to fly hovercraft. After receiving a safety briefing, the group were given instructions on how to fly the hovercraft. These were generally studiously ignored as we all endeavoured to develop our own technique. After a couple of hours, it was all coming together so, not wanting to embarrass the experts with our newly developed skills, we retired to a local hostelry for refreshments.
