National Trust Trip to Tatton Park

On 29 August we will be visiting Tatton Park, near Knutsford. Located in 1,000 acres of the most beautiful deer park, the former Egerton family home is a wonderful estate with extensive gardens to wander through.

Nearby is a farm with a restored working mill that you can visit should you wish to. The entrance to that is £3.50 as a National Trust member. There has been £1.3 million Heritage Lottery investment in the farm. There are rare breed animals including sheep, goats, pigs, cows and shire horses, as well as food demonstrations such as cheese and butter making.

But you don’t have to visit the farm if you don’t want to. There’s certainly lots to look at if we have dry day for the visit.

The cost of the coach fare is £9.00. If you aren’t in the National Trust there will be an additional entrance fee.
