August’s National Trust visit covers new ground. It combines an English Heritage visit to Wrest Park and a National Trust property called Ascott House which is owned and occupied in part by the Rothschild family. The date of the trip is Friday 14 August. This visit is more focused on the spectacular gardens of both properties rather than the interiors of the properties, which are limited, so it is perhaps not for you if you have limited mobility as there are no electric scooters. The cost of the transport is £9.00 each. Non-National Trust members will need to pay a further £10.00 entrance to the Ascott Estate. We leave Hucknall Leisure Centre at 8.30am.
