Membership Reminder

There is a ‘Christmas Special’ monthly meeting on December 14th at the Leisure Centre from 1.30pm for a 2pm start.
We have many interest groups who are essentially creative and this is an opportunity for them to showcase their talents in a variety of ways including artistic, musical and dramatic.
Our Festival Christmas tree will also be on display and contributions of ‘baubles’ from Interest Groups are most welcome. If possible please bring them to our next monthly meeting on the 9th November.
In the interval refreshments of tea, coffee, mince pies and Stollen will be available so forget the diet for a day and join in.
Christmas Social
This is on Monday December 5th and the tickets have sold like hot mince pies. A limited number are still available and will be on sale at the next monthly meeting on November 9th.
Crime watch warning
A member had her handbag stolen in Tesco last Friday and as well as a quantity of cash items of a personal nature were in the bag and losing these is invariably more upsetting than the financial loss.Please be aware when out shopping as the problem seems to be more prevalent in the run up to Christmas.
