The Christmas Lunch at the Albert Hall was much enjoyed on Wednesday, 15th December, despite Covid. There were only 24 of us but it was a lovely occasion, made even better by the high quality of the lunch and the friendliness of the staff. Sue Foss and Judy Pritchard won the Christmas Quiz and Alan Snape the Christmas Lucky Number.
In view of the increased Covid activity I have decided to postpone the January 26th lunch which was planned for The Nabb Inn. At least 26 members had put their names down for this event so please check your diaries and cancel this date.
I have booked the February lunch for the 23rd at The Shepherd’s Rest, Bagthorpe and this is now full also. Obviously we hope this will still go ahead but at the moment we are just planning month by month. Let us hope the rest of 2022 will be a much better year.
