Once again, for various reasons, mostly holidays and illness, June has been rather a slow month for the Hucknall & District u3a Litter Pickers. However, there is some good news to report. Sally Hill who is also a member of Ashfield u3a has secured funding of over £700 from Veolia to set up a litter picking group in Ashfield. Well done Sally and good luck to the group! There is always plenty of litter to be collected so I am sure that you will all be kept very busy.
