Where are we going?
Leaving Ogle Street at 10.00 we are firstly visiting Ellicar Gardens at Gringley on the Hill. This garden was the winner of Cobra’s best Gardeners’ garden, and featured in English Garden, The Daily Mail and Yorkshire Post. Also BBC2 Garden Revival. Also features a natural swimming pool.
Following on in the afternoon we are visiting Holmes Villa at Walkeringham near Gainsborough.the book describes this garden as ‘a flower arrangers artistic garden.
Returning to Hucknall by 5.00.
Let’s hope that the weather man is kind to us yet again and we can enter autumn with happy summer garden memories.
