Gardening Group Trips

Sorry there is no Garden Group in the Newsletter this month mainly due to my being on holiday at the time .
Tuesday 18th July – Destination Hopton Hall and Gardens plus Carsington Water
45 of our members booked for this day out. We still have 5 places left and 2 of the 45 still to pay. Leaving our usual starting point – Ogle St – at 10.00 we should arrive at Hopton shortly after 11.00 They will be serving tea/coffee etc in the summerhouse. Moving on to Carsington at 1.00 p.m approx where meals are available in the restaurant. We plan to stay at Carsington till about 3.30 depending on the weather arriving back in Hucknall about 4.30
Thursday 17th August (Please note THURSDAY not Tuesday )
Destination Renishaw Hall and Gardens near Stavely, Yes I know Thursday is difficult for some members but Renishaw is not open on a Tuesday. Again 10.00 from Ogle Street
£10. 40 members booked so far. Further bookings and payments being taken by Judith at this Wednesday’s monthly meeting, If you are a member of the RHS then its only £5.
Weather permitting we intend to visit the nearby Dobys garden Centre and other shops based there.
Tuesday 19th September Destination Trentham Gardens at Stoke. cost of £12 and a full bus already but some may drop out as only 18 have paid so far.
October and November have speakers booked – no meeting in December and next year depends on who offers to take over the arranging of activities.
