Film Club Bargain Films

As previously stated a number of U3A members meet up at the Bonington Theatre on a Friday night to see some really good films at a ridiculously low price of £2.50 Anyone wishing to join us contact Alan Snape or just come along at 7.00 – 7.15p.m. whenever a film is being shown. To get this low price the enormous price of £1 has to be paid for a lifelong membership. There is a bar open pre-show and also at the intermission. Ice creams are on sale but thank goodness no pop corn.
The Bonington Theatre is situated within the Arnold Leisure Centre on High Street, Arnold and has a large car park free after 6.00p.m.
Films are shown on Fridays when the 190 seater theatre is not required for other activities (like plays) and the following films are being shown at 7.30 on
March 7th – Before You Go – a 2002 comedy starring Julie Walters
March 14th – The Sapphires – a 2012 film
March 21st – Dangerous Liaisons – a 1988 film starring Glen Close
You can pay your £1 membership fee along with your entry fee at the box office between 6.30 and 7.30 on the night. Registration brings with it a regular e mail providing information on what we are going to see. Come and join our growing number of U3A members for a really good value night out.
