Most of you will be aware that as a U3A we collect empty crisp packets that are taken to Rumbletums Charity Cafe in Kimberley to be forwarded for recycling. They receive a payment for this.
We collect at the monthly meeting (remember them?) Currently we can’t collect at the meeting and also they cannot forward the used packets as the pickups are suspended due to Covid.
However, the process will restart so, in the meantime, if you can, please hang on to your crisp packet mountain and we will arrange to pick them up from you as soon as the situation changes.
