Christmas Tree Festival

Hucknall Christmas Tree Festival – Wednesday 4 December 2013
This will be the second year Hucknall & District U3A have entered the Hucknall Christmas Tree Festival and again we are looking for your support. Craft Group 2 are making the entry on behalf of the U3A entitled ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’.
The festival will open on the evening of Wednesday 4 December at 6pm until 8.30pm in the historic church of St Mary Magdalene behind the Market Place. A one way system has been devised around the church to make sure that every tree is seen and also to make access for prams and wheelchairs easier. Opening times for Thursday 5 December and Friday 6 December are 10.00am until 8pm and Saturday 7 December 10am until 12.30pm. The competition will be judged by the general public to find the best tree and voting will be open from the Wednesday evening until Friday evening, the winner will be announced on Saturday at midday.
