Following our performance at the Christmas Social event on Monday, 8 December, I would like to thank U3A members for the very warm welcome extended to the choir on that occasion.
The choir undertook its first practice session on the third Wednesday of January and will continue practice sessions on the first and third Wednesday of each month where applicable. The times remain as the first session 1.30 to 3.30 pm and the second is from 11.30 to l.30 pm, in the Studio Room at the Godber Centre. As choral singing is a fantastic way of relieving stress in our lives, we would be pleased to welcome any new members on these dates, details of which are displayed on the board in the Information Room at the monthly meetings. Members of the choir are not professional singers, we all joined because we really enjoy singing for pleasure with the added bonus of learning to sing in unison.
