A few tickets are still available for the brass band concert celebrating St George’s Day on Saturday 25 April at the John Godber Centre. Newstead Brass Band will be performing and their programme will include several solo items along with rousing tunes including the Dambusters March and Land of Hope and Glory. Tickets are £5.00 each and are also available to non U3A members, tickets will be on sale at the April monthly meeting. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, patriotic dress will be optional for those who would like to dress for the occasion.
