Childs Play event is a brass band concert at Shirebrook Academy School featuring the Black Dyke Band performing film music including the premiere of a newly commissioned film
“Childs Play” with live soundtrack featuring BBC2 Radio Presenter Frank renton as narrator. The film premiere will include performers from Shirebrook Miners Welfare Band, Shirebrook Academy School Band and local primary school children performing a newly commissioned piece of music for the film
The film is about the history of childrens play from Victorian times to today.
