Diary Notes from Chief Weeder, Alan
Firstly – can I remind you that it is the Hucknall U3A July meeting at the Leisure Centre this Wednesday at 1.30. If you have your name down for our visit to the National Arboretum Memorial Gardens and have money outstanding then please remember your cheques books and come along and see Judith at the rear of the Hall.
Secondly, also on Wednesday, again with cheques books to the ready, we are looking for payment for our visit to Melbourne Hall and Gardens on Tuesday 18th August. ( by the way we do accept cash if your cheque book has become extinct).
Thirdly a date for your diaries, Linby Gardens are open to viewing on Sunday July 26th
Lastly, Here is a list of gardens open to visit this month hot from the NGS book. You may wish to note them in your diary. Most of these gardens have an admission of £3 donation for charity.
