Weekenders' Group Latest

The events organised by either the Lunch Group or the Weekenders’ Group are open to all U3A members, regardless of whether they are regulars or not. Obviously places are sometimes limited so it’s first come, first served. I should be grateful if you could let me know if you are interested in these events as soon as possible so that I can let other members know if I have places left.
We had an excellent Sunday lunch at Ciao Bella, Mansfield on 4th February followed by a Games Night at Pam Farrell’s on 10th February and our Coffee Club on 24th February when we exchanged our Valentine’s stories. Unfortunately we had to cancel our lunch at the Horse & Groom, Moorgreen due to the snow. We have also cancelled The Countryman lunch due to lack of transport.
We are having a St. Patrick’s Day themed Social Evening on 17th March and an outing to Bakewell on the 19th March. Our March Coffee Club will be on the 31st when our topic of conversation will be our Travelling Tales.
