At the August meeting, Jim Spray, fellow member of the U3A and former Chairman of the Byron Festival Committee, presented one of this year’s winners, Linda Walker, with her prize. Linda, whose winning entry was “Entry to Newstead” is a member of the Watercolour group led by Rose Ridley.
The competition was judged by Ann Clay, a member of the Nottingham Society of Artists. The photos show Linda Walker receiving her prize with her painting (shown on the left of the photograph) and the other entries received from other members of the Watercolour group.
