Last night Colleen and I went to see ‘Me Before You’ (Film) at The Bonington. What a superb film which we both thoroughly enjoyed. A Film about a young girl caring for a rich young aristocrat up to his dying breath in Switzerland. A good advert for Dignitas but a tear jerker at the end. We are now looking forward to watching “Cafe Society” next Wednesday (5th October) although it is also on Friday 30th and Sunday 2nd.
Then it will be Bridget Jones’s Baby (Friday 21st and all following week except Tuesday). Two films on during half terms with Matinees for children to attend are “Pete’s Dragon” – Saturday 22nd to Tuesday 25th at 2.30 also “Swallows & Amazons” Wednesday 26th 2.30: Thursday 27th 3.30pm and Friday 28th at 2.30pm.
We are now going to book tickets for The Bonington Players performance of Noel Coward’s ‘Brief Encounter’ and The Prospect Players performance of Noel Coward’s ‘Blithe Spirit’. These are both Am Dram productions at The Bonington and are on 4 nights, 7.30@ £8. Brief Encounter is on Wed 12th to Sat 15th oct and Blithe Spirit Wednesday 16th Nov to Sat 19th.
