We have had a disappointing start to 2015 in terms of decent road and weather conditions. This has curtailed our Wednesday rides and has badly affected the takings of various local cafes…
We did manage to get out twice and sampled an interesting new circuit led by John Saunders that included Phoenix Park, Leen Valley Way and an interesting urban experience through Bulwell. Thanks John.
Looking Ahead
On the 21st June (the longest day) we are taking part in ‘The Great Notts Bike Ride’ which starts at The Embankment and there are 3 circuits of 25, 50 and 100 miles mainly through south of the county towards the Vale Of Belvoir.
To date 6 of our members have registered for the 50 mile event with more to follow
The more serious training will be starting in the spring when we anticipate sustained periods of good cycling weather.
