Members make their own way to the walk start point (usually a car park). Members requiring a lift and those able to offer lifts should contact the co-ordinator who will try to ensure that all members are accommodated. Passengers to share petrol costs with their driver. Start time from walk starting point is usually 10.00 and leaving time from Hucknall is usually 09.15 but may vary. Walk finish time is approximately 15.00. Most walks will include a pub or café stop at or towards the end of the route.
If adverse weather conditions or other reasons cause the proposed walk to be cancelled the group co-ordinator will contact you via email, a Whatsapp notification (we now have a Whatsapp group) or telephone call. It is important that you carry the co-ordinators mobile phone number and to ensure that they have yours.
