History Group
During the winter months (with the exception of December) the group meets in the hall of Central Methodist Church opposite the Market Place at 2pm on the third Wednesday of the month.
From April to June we have outdoor meetings such as visits to historical venues or walks both local and further afield. July and August are left free for holidays, grandchildren, and as a general refresher, enabling members to be raring to go for the September meeting.
